Why a princess book?
Many people have asked me why I wrote the story, “A BFF for Princess Sierra” The answer is simple, my granddaughter is such a princess I just had to write her a story and make her the main character. The story was originally meant to be just a Christmas present for her. But my plans all changed when my sister and I were proof reading the original manuscript while on a train trip to Virginia. My sister is a very dramatic reader and we were having a great time laughing and being silly as she read through the manuscript. After we had finished making our corrections, several of the passengers on the train came up to us and said, “That was such a great story. When you publish it let us know, so we can buy a copy.” One man even gave me his business card. I’ve written many books for the grand kids and I’ve always wanted to publish them but I’ve never considered myself a great writer. So, I asked myself, “Would other children enjoy this story as much as my granddaughter did?” I decided to give it a go. Much to my surprise, this book has been a great success. Take a chance and read it for yourself. Let me truthfully know your opinion. Be my critic, I need your feedback to help make my future books even stronger. Hope to hear from you soon. Happy Reading!
