Vacation breaks from school driving you insane?
I can remember when my children were young. The boredom that would set in after only one or two days into their break, was insane. It took me several years to realize how important it was for me to plan ahead for those breaks. Children need structure, even during school breaks, whether they realize it or not. Structure is healthy for them and sanity for us. So what does that structure look like? That’s up to you. It con take on many forms but I think the key ingredient is; consistency. Routines allow us to know what’s coming and what to expect.
