I was born in Columbus, Ohio, but was raised in Richmond, Virginia. I have a loving and supportive husband, two wonderful daughters, and four awesome grandchildren. An interesting fact about myself: I am legally blind, yet I write children’s books–go figure! I taught elementary school in Virginia and Florida for 37 years, telling all kinds of fictional stories to my students along the way. Once I retired from teaching, I decided to put those stories down on paper for other children to enjoy. It is the desire of my heart to stimulate the imagination of children so that one day they can become creative, expressive authors themselves.
Children’s stories are filled with wonders, vibrant colors, and life-changing lessons. They build the cornerstone of childhood and can also ensure hours of delight and fun. Nowadays, many writers are delving into children’s stories, yet only few can really touch the hearts and minds of your children. If you’re looking for a new book for your children, one author that you should trust is Carol Doumlele.
